We are pleased to present a new collection of work by acclaimed jewelers Gail Bird and Yazzie Johnson. Collaborating since the 1970s, Bird and Johnson have developed a distinctive style shaped by innovation, cultural insight, and deep respect for materials.

Their jewelry is known for its bold design, rich symbolism, and strong connection to the landscapes and histories of the American Southwest. Each piece reflects a thoughtful interplay of form, texture, and meaning.

Beyond their studio work, Bird has served on arts organization boards, lectured on Southwestern jewelry, and chaired the jury for Santa Fe’s renowned Indian Market. Johnson co-curated the influential 1990 exhibition Steady Hands, White Metal at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture.

This exhibition features their latest work, offering new reflections on place, identity, and form through exceptional artistry.

Please join us on August 14th for an opening reception from 5–7 pm.
